Meet the Tour Guide
Pick up from your hotel or Train station.Step 1
Maokong mountain
To start off our exciting journey, we take a ride on the Maokong Gondola. This 30-minute one-way gondola ride lets you enjoy the beautiful city view of Taipei, as well as the nearby mountains. After the gondola ride, we take a short hike on Maokong mountain and enjoy some fresh local Taiwanese mountain tea as well as different traditional snacks. You will be amazed by the natural beauty surrounding Taipei City!Step 2
Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall
We will visit the grand architecture of Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. The memorial hall was built to commemorate Chiang Kai-Shek, the first president of Taiwan. Our experienced local guide will tell you stories about how Chiang Kai-Shek set up the Taiwanese nation. You will also experience the majestic changing of the honored guards at the memorial hall.Step 3
Longshan Temple
Admire the beauty of Longshan Temple, which was built in 1738 by settlers from China. Longshan Temple is one of the oldest temples in Taiwan and the carvings inside the temple is magnificent. Many locals still visit this temple today to worship and make wishes.Step 4
Ximending
Last but not least, we will go to Ximending, where all the happenings are in Taipei. There are endless shops and food stalls for you to explore. Local street performers also make their way into Ximending for your enjoyment. We will also visit the famous Ximending Red House, which was built in 1908 during the Japanese rule. The building now showcases many products and arts made by local artists.Drop off
