Step 1
Rainbow Village Taichung
Visit Rainbow Village. This idyllic village is decorated with colorful paintings by “Rainbow Grandpa”, a retired soldier who wanted to save the village from being demolished. This strategy worked as the village was turned into a national treasure and it is visited by thousands of locals and tourists each year.
Step 2
Luce Chapel
Next stop is Luce Memorial Chapel. This university campus is perhaps the most beautiful university in Taiwan. Tour the grounds and learn about its history. Just make sure to pack your camera, as you’ll want to snap up quite a few photos!

Gaomei Wetlands
The next stop on this tour is Gaomei Wetlands. Tour the beautiful, lush wetlands with your guide, then stop to enjoy the stunning sunset over the horizon. You’ve never seen a sunset like this before!

Fengjia Night Market
