If it says something similar to “INPUT AC 120 VAC 60 Hz 200 W” then your gadget is single-voltage and can only be used on 120 V. However, if the input shows “Input: 100-240V~ 0.45A (0,45A) 50-69Hz“, that means it’s a dual-voltage power adapter and it will work in Taiwan.

Taiwan also uses lower voltage than countries that use Type G plugs. The standard voltage in Taiwan is 110 V and the standard frequency is 60 Hz. Type G devices usually expect 240 Volts. However, if you are just bringing your laptop, iPhone, or Samsung phone adapter, it will most likely be dual-voltage, and the power adapter can work with Taiwan’s lower voltage. But you still need a universal travel adapter to make your plug work with Taiwan’s power outlet.
